Crowe Horwath Trinavis is a member of important associations which are of high importance for our profession and our company. Not only are we always well-informed due to our memberships, we also make valuable contacts. With our active role in leading associations we are able to contribute our competence and to influence reform projects at an early stage.
The German Property Federation (ZIA) pursues the objective of representing the interests of the property sector with regard to regulatory and economic policy. As an umbrella organisation it represents seventeen associations of the property sector and more than 140 leading companies along its entire value chain. Its members are planners, developers, construction companies, estate agents, real estate portfolio holders and service providers. As the exclusive representation of the property sector in the Federation of German Industry (BDI), the ZIA may use the resources, networks and the know-how of the BDI in order to improve the situation of the German property sector in politics and in the public. At a European level, ZIA is represented in Brussels and established there as the German Property Federation.
As a member of ZIA, Crowe Horwath Trinavis contributes in particular to the committees "Accounting and valuation" and "Tax" in order to represent the economic, legal, political and tax interests of the members together with the ZIA.

The Berlin-based Bundesverband Deutscher Kapitalbeteilungsgesellschaften – German Private Equity and Venture Capital Association e.V. (BVK) represents the interests of the private equity industry in Germany. This industry includes the private equity companies and institutional investors in private equity. The BVK represents around 300 members, of which 200 are investment companies. It is the objective of the BVK to create the best possible environment for investment capital in Germany. This includes the improvement of the tax and political framework for investment capital in Germany in dialogues with the decision makers in politics and administration, easier access to investment capital for capital-seeing enterprises, market observation and analysis of market developments as well as enhancing the exchange of experience between the members. A prerequisite for reaching these goals is a systematic communication within the industry which developed by the BVK together with its members.

The German Council of Shopping Centers e. V. (GCSC) is the only association in Germany representing the interests of retail property owners. Here more than 650 member companies from the areas of development and analysis, financing, centre management, architecture, retail properties, retailers and marketing specialists combine their interests as an ideal networking basis for retail property owners and stakeholders. With our membership in the GCSC we have access to first-class events which help us to offer and extend our know-how in this important business sector. American Chamber of Commerce in Germany e.V. (AmCham Germany) is the largest bilateral trade association in Europe. The association, which was founded in 1903, has over 3,000 members today and regards itself as a lobbyist of American investors in Germany. AmCham strives to enhance Germany as a business location and the German-American economic and trade relations. Through its networks in business, politics and its worldwide organisation, AmCham Germany supports its members' interests in Germany. The British Chamber of Commerce in Germany (BCCG) is the largest British-German entrepreneurial network worldwide. Its approximately 1,000 members include intern atonal and German business as well as self-employed persons. Its patron is the British Ambassador to German, Sir Simon McDonald CMG.

EACVA (European Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analysts) is the only professional organisation for business valuation experts (valuation professionals) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. EACVA is related to the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. In the USA, NACVA is the market leader for training valuation professionals and has more than 6,000 members there. NACVA is the only professional association worldwide whose exams are accredited by NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies). It has certified valuation professionals since 1990 and supports them in their daily work.

The Verein Berliner Kaufleute und Industrieller (Association of Berlin Merchants and Industrialists - VBKI) is a public benefit association and has been one of the most prestigious business institutions in Germany since its foundation 130 years ago. With its strong presence in the public and its voting weight in the city, the VBKI is one of the strongest multipliers in Berlin. It was established in 2000 and is represented in eight central locations in Germany today.
