The Association of Municipal Companies (Verband kommunaler Unternehmen - VKU) is the special interest group of municipal public utilities and waste management industry in Germany. The VKU symposium energy services under the slogan of "Efficient, digital, innovative: Rethinking energy services from electricity to heat" is intended for management board members and directors as well as specialists and executives working in the fields of energy services, energy efficiency, distribution as well as product and corporate development of municipal energy suppliers and public utilities. Representatives of public utilities but also speakers from politics, science and research talk about current developments of energy efficiency, share their experience with digitalisation and introduce successful contracting models based on various innovative technologies.
